The Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR), offers useful information on everyday life in Japan. Information is provided on matters such as the Japanese healthcare and insurance system, legal matters, and what to do in case of a disaster. Their Living Guide offers this and lots of other useful information in multiple languages.
